This article explained how a calculus teacher, Josh Dorsey, was still able to teach his calculus class more than 800 miles away from the school. He was in Florida and he was able to communicate with his students and he was able to continue the lecture with Bridgit software. There was also a case where the school closed due to a snow in and the students emailed him still wanting him to conduct the lecture through Bridgit. Bridgit was created to by smart technologies for students and teachers to share real time through the internet. Dorsey is able to teach gifted students from different schools and districts through this new software. It helps him hear what the students are thinking and helps him still be able to communicate with him even though they are not in the same classroom.
